Service procedure

How a device goes through the bench

Diagnosis: The device comes in with a service order, a description of the fault and contact details. The bench tests it before opening it and records what it found.
Quote: The customer receives the price and the list of parts by phone or e-mail. Nothing is replaced without their approval.
Execution: Repair, installation or event setup, with an invoice and the service warranty recorded on the same order.

Before you come to the store

What speeds up the service

To leave a device for repair
- The purchase invoice, if the device is still under the manufacturer's warranty.
- The power supply, cable or charger that comes with the device: many faults live there.
- A description of the fault: what happens, when it started and whether it is constant or intermittent.
- For computers and phones, the access password or a test user, only so the bench can switch it on and test it.
- A backup of your files already made, as the privacy policy explains.
To hire sound and light
- Date, start and end times, and the address of the event.
- Type of event and estimated audience size, to size the speakers and power.
- Whether the venue is indoors or outdoors and whether there is a power point near the stage.
- Whether a stage or roof is needed, with the approximate measurements of the space.
- Who answers for the booking on the day, with a contact phone number.
